Father Fights Against Cyber Bullies For Daughter

Curt Schilling tweets, “Congrats to Gabby Schilling who will pitch for the Salve Regina Seahawks next year!!” Curt was just being a proud father posting this tweet, knowing that he would get a few unlike comments. With college kids being college kids, he knew they would say some smart remarks. They started joking around for a bit till the comments started becoming mean. As a father, he wasn’t expecting to see something like this. He rewrote his blog more than a couple times because his first one was, and I quote, “I’m going to get in my car and go somewhere and kill these people.” This was like an attack on his family because he is a father who works two jobs. Gabby on the other hand was only expecting a few comments, nothing like what was posted. She wasn’t able to take to Curt about this until she saw his comments on the situation. Because of the cyber bullying, some kids lost their jobs and got kicked out of school. He leaves us saying that emotional pain is going to stay with you longer, probably the rest of your life unlike physical pain. For more information on this story, go to CNN.com.
